Cusco City Tour

Our City tour offers art, living culture and history, we will appreciate how the Andean and Spanish cultures coexist in harmony in the so-called Imperial City, former capital of the Inca empire.

 We will first visit the majestic Qoricancha Temple the most important  religious and administration place of the inca times, then we wil proceed  to  the mirador of San Cristobal where we will star our walking visit to the traditional  neigborhoods of San Cristobal an San Blas to live the classic atmosphera of the old streets decorated by the artist  like Siete Borreguiitos street called the “ most instagramiable Street” of Cusco and the Viceroyal Acueduct throug this streets we will arrive to imponent the imponent Plaza de Armas, scene of hundreds of historical events, then we will enter to the Cathedral of Cusco, the most important catholic church in the city, which was built on the palace of the Inca Wiracoha, in this church we will be able to see a wonderful collection of viceroyal art composed of canvases School of Art of Cusco, goldsmithing and wood carving. and finally   we will visit the San Pedro Market, built under the plans of Gustave Eiffel, in this market we will be able to appreciate the most traditional way of supplying food and products from the region as well as crafts.

Cusco, Sacred Valley North East Route

We leave the city of Cusco on the way to the Sacred Valley heading northwest and the first place  we will visit will be Sacsayhuaman, a complex built by the Incas which is considered the first place most visited by tourists in Cusco where we can appreciate the advanced knowledge of architecture and megalithic construction that the Incas possessed only compared to the pyramids of Egypt, then we will enter the Sacred Valley which we will be able to appreciate in all its magnitude from the Mirador de Taray and then begin the ascent to the ruins of Pisac where we can see and experience another magnificent work of Inca architecture and agriculture. We will finish our visit to Pisac sharing time with the artisans at the village market, considered the most complete handcraft market in Peru, late afternoon we will head towards Urubamba through the Sacred Valley admiring the small towns that are on the way to reach the hotel that awaits us with a cozy and traditional atmosphere

Full day Machu Picchu

One of the most iconic visits in the  world : Machu Picchu! Our dream trip begins aboard the train to Aguas Calientes from the Sacred Valley. During the trip we can enjoy the natural beauty of the environment, with impressive views of majestic glaciers, inca remains sites ,mountains and the Vilcanota River that will accompany us the entire trip to the rhythm of live Peruvian music, in addition We will appreciate lush vegetation and majestic landscapes from your observatory car;  truly a great visual experience that will fill us with emotion and that will be the preamble to the visit to Machu Picchu. After a short bus ride from Aguas Calientes we will arrive at one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World: We will explore the ancient Inca ruins, learning everything about it discovery, it history and the mysteries contained in this mythical and impressive place surrounded by incomparable landscapes. Once we have recharged ourselves from the magical energy of Machu Picchu, we will return to Aguas Calientes for lunch and take some time to explore the streets a bit before boarding our return train to Sacred Valley againg.

Cusco, Sacred Valley North West Route

After having rested from our trip to Machupicchu the previous day, we now have to head back to the city of Cusco through the mountains and plains of Maras and Chinchero , visiting the Salineras de Maras, a pre-Inca complex of more than 4 thousand pools where the water evaporates and Maras salt emerges in an artisanal but very effective process. Next we will visit Moray, a place that the Incas built for the adaptation of species of plants the heights of Maras and other places in the Empire, then we will visit our friends from the peasant community of Misminay where we will share their daily life and their customs, finally we will stop at the Mirador del Valle to give it the last look before visiting the textile workshop from Balcon del Inca in Chinchero.
